Meet Angela
Angela feels cruelly abused. She has so much love to give. She is the best friend. The best girlfriend. Yet people are always disappointing her. Just as she gets close to someone they push her away. She’s constantly being abandoned no matter how hard she tries. And she tries hard. People tell her she’s too intense, but what does that mean? She just wants to shower them with love--and get the same in return. Is that so much to ask? She’s desperate to get back together with the girl she feels is the absolute love of her life, Alison, who, inexplicably, has, yet again, turned out to be one of “those people.” Angela's internal struggle and inability to comprehend the impact of her condition are illustrated through cinematic approaches, including flashbacks and reenactments. Viewers observe her rage and her willingness to humiliate herself to any degree to win back Alison’s heart. So why is it not working? She doesn’t believe she has a disorder, and thinks that If anyone has a psychological problem, it’s Alison, who is too afraid of what it means to be truly in love.
