Real-Life, Real-Time, Therapy Practicum

Our human-powered simulations are delivered in real-time and puts learners in direct contact with a trained simulation expert who assumes the role of a realistic client who is seeking treatment for a variety of real mental health situations.

Our Simulations immerse learners in a realistic virtual environment where they can practice their mental health assessment and treatment skills. Our hands-on approach enables students to develop their confidence and proficiency, engaging with a range of scenarios and virtual patients that replicate real-life experiences.

Simulated Clients

An avatar based simulation best utilized when the persona or environment could not be simulated by a live simulation specialist. This methodology is best utilized to simulate families, couples, groups, and adolescents. Much like the virtual patient, the simulation specialist is the‘human power’ behind the session, and offers true to life depiction of each scenario by using AR technology. These simulations also offer a wide variety of cultural, racial, gender and age diversity so learners can also gauge any microaggressions they may experience working with different populations.
